Leylan Gleeson

Leylan grew up riding and showing with her mom in Cleveland, Ohio. At 15 she spent her first of many winters showing down in Wellington Florida, training with Ashland Farms. As a junior she had many top placings in the ponies, hunters, equitation and jumpers. Most notably winning the Zone 5 horsemanship Finals in 2011. In 2012 she started school at The University of Georgia where she majored in Finance while competing on the NCEA equestrian team. While on the team she won and SEC and National Championship and was a 2nd team All American as well as an SEC first team rider. As an amateur in college she won multiple championships and grand championships in the Adult hunters and Jumpers up and down the East Coast. Upon graduation she became a professional taking a job as an assistant rider and trainer at Ashland Farms. In the last 3 years she helped to bring along young horses and riders. The horses and riders she worked with went on to win multiple equitation finals and championships at every top horse show. Ready for a new challenge, she moved to Northern California to experience show jumping on the west coast. She is excited to work under and learn from one of the best riders and horsemen, Bert Mutch.
